Being everywhere is making you invisible

Today, we’re talking about…

DISTRIBUTION.

The most common distribution mistake I see businesses make is choosing platforms based on:

  • What's trendy (jumping on TikTok because "that's where the attention is")

  • Personal preference (using Instagram because you enjoy scrolling it)

  • FOMO (trying to maintain presence on 6 different platforms "just in case")

And the result is predictable:

Exhaustion, inconsistency, and mediocre results everywhere.

It's like trying to light five fires with one match versus focusing on getting one roaring blaze going first.

Meanwhile, the businesses that dominate ONE channel first before expanding outperform everyone else.

This is why questions 25-28 in our checklist are so crucial:

  1. Where is your audience actually consuming content? (Not where you wish they were)

  2. What channels should you focus on? (Emphasis on FOCUS)

  3. What should your top 3 content pillars be based on the above?

  4. How are you going to start?

I put these questions together in the hopes that we can align your energy with reality.

Because you can create the most valuable, insightful, life-changing content in the world... but if you distribute it poorly, it might as well not exist.

Now, these four questions work as a system.

The perfect content pillars on the wrong platform won't work.

The right platform without focus leads to burnout.

The right platform and focus without clear pillars leads to random content that doesn't build authority.

And even getting all three right without actually starting... well, you get the idea.

Distribution is the bridge between your ideas and the people who need them.

That's why this part of the checklist matters so much.

You’re ensuring your expertise actually reaches people in a way they can recognise, value, and act upon.

As you work through questions 25-28, I challenge you to be brutally honest about where your audience actually is, what you can realistically focus on, and how you'll ensure you actually start.

Because the best strategy never implemented is worse than a mediocre one that gets acted upon consistently.
