Nobody buys WHAT you do - They buy WHY you do it.

Last week we figured out who you are.

This week we're digging into why anyone should care.

(I'm kidding... sort of 😉)

The response to our walkthrough of ‘Part 1: Warm Up’ from the 7 Steps to 7 Figures checklist was massive.

Turns out I'm not the only one with a downloads folder full of PDFs that deserve more attention.

If you missed it, we tackled the first five questions that help you clarify who you are, what you do, and how to articulate that.

(read it here and once you’ve caught up, you can tackle this email).

Oh, and to take on these tasks you’ll need my 7 Steps to 7 Figures checklist, which you can download below 👇

Knowing who you are is just the foundation.

Understanding your purpose is where things start to come together.

Because let's be honest – nobody buys WHAT you do.

They buy WHY you do it.

Today, we're moving to Part 2: Your Purpose.

Ready?

Let's go:

1/ "What drives you to do what you do?"

  • This isn't about money. It's never just about money.

  • What gets you out of bed on the hard days?

  • What problem makes you angry enough to solve it?

  • What impact are you actually trying to have?

2/ "What one thing do you want your brand to be remembered for in 100 years?"

  • I love this question because it forces perspective.

  • Most of us are worried about next week's content.

  • This question makes you think beyond the noise.

  • What's the actual legacy you're building?

3/ "Define your primary 'why' in one line. What's your mission?"

  • This is where it gets real.

  • No corporate jargon.

  • No fluffy statements.

  • Just the raw truth of what you're trying to do.

4/ "If you could sum this mission up in a word, what would it be?"

  • One word.

  • The essence of everything.

  • Your North Star.

Now, I can already hear some of you thinking: "Jordan, this sounds like some woo-woo vision board stuff."

I get it.

I used to think the same way.

But here's what happens when you skip these questions:

You end up creating content that even YOU don't care about.

You chase every trend that pops up on your feed.

You feel that weird disconnect when talking about your work.

You struggle to make decisions because there's no clear direction.

Sound familiar?

I see it all the time - creators who are good at what they do but bounce from strategy to strategy, platform to platform, offer to offer.

Always chasing, rarely building.

That's what happens without a clear purpose.

When you don't know your why, everything becomes harder.

Content creation feels like pulling teeth.

Decision-making turns into guesswork.

Building an audience becomes nearly impossible.

Think about the creators you actually follow consistently.

What makes you come back?

It's rarely just their skills or knowledge.

It's their purpose. Their mission. The why behind what they do.

They stand for something.

They're moving toward something.

And you can feel it.

That's what these four questions give you - the clarity to stand out in a world of creators who are all doing similar things.

The best part?

Your purpose isn't something you need to invent – it's already there, driving your decisions, even if you haven't articulated it yet.

These questions just bring it to the surface.

That's why I love how our community approaches this:

You share your answers.

You get real feedback from other builders.

You refine until it feels true.

Then you use this clarity to fuel everything else.

Will your purpose evolve over time?

Absolutely.

But you can't evolve what you haven't defined.

So this today, tackle these four questions.

They're the difference between building something that lasts and chasing trends forever.

Remember, the creator mindset is all you need to grow 🌱
