What 17-year-old me would have wanted to know...

I somehow ended up doing THREE speaking gigs in one day today.

Who let this happen? 😂

Started the day with the Digital Television Group summit where I was interviewing Victor (managing director of Sidemen Entertainment) about INSIDE.

Just casually chatting about how they made it, the operations behind it, all that production goodness.

Then literally rushed across town for talk number two with Jake Humphrey's High Performance Foundation.

This one was in front of 700 seventeen-year-olds talking about mindset, collaboration, and how to build their careers.

No pressure, right?

Just 700 teens staring at you waiting for life-changing wisdom.

And because apparently I hate having functioning vocal cords, I then headed to Channel 4 to talk about their initiative called the Plug (it’s all helping people break into this industry and find their feet).

Three completely different audiences in one day.

My brain is now officially scrambled lol.

Will I be speaking in coherent sentences by the end of today?

Absolutely not.

Will I probably do it again anyway because I'm incapable of saying no to interesting opportunities?

You already know the answer.

But you know what?

I think what keeps me saying yes to these things is that these talks remind me why I fell in love with this industry in the first place.

The creator economy has given me a career I never thought possible when I was 17.

It's given me the chance to build brands, manage talent I admire, and work with mates every day.

So when I'm standing there, voice giving out, trying to explain to a room full of teenagers or industry execs what's possible in this world... it's not just for them.

It's for 17-year-old me who would have absolutely lost his mind if someone had shown him what was coming.

Remember, the creator mindset is all you need to grow 🌱
