  1. 30% of 18-30 year olds are in debt

  2. Across England and Wales, a majority of 20-24 year olds now live with their parents

  3. 26% of 25-29 year olds are in the same boat

  4. Fewer than 50% of people are now married before their 30th birthday

  5. The average age of a first-time buyer in London is currently 35. In 5 years time, it will be almost forty

  6. The average 25 year old has less than £2000 in savings

  7. …and more than £45k in student loans

  8. …and racks up 7.5 hours a day in screen time

Comparison is not a good metric to live by.

But it can also give us the space to relax and focus — knowing we aren’t doing so badly after all.
