Starbucks is hiring 2 full-time creators

Starbucks is hiring two full-time content creators.

Not for a campaign.

Not for sponsored posts.

Full-time employees.

Starbucks

There’s a lot of talk about how it's a sign of the "creatorfication" of marketing.

How brands are finally getting it.

How authentic content beats corporate nonsense.

All true.

But I think that’s missing the bigger picture.

This isn't really about content at all.

See, if you search "Starbucks" on TikTok right now, you'll find thousands of videos from random people - baristas, customers, people trying weird drink combinations.

Millions of views and genuine conversations.

But Starbucks wasn't controlling any of it.

Their customers and employees were already creating content about them.

Already telling their stories.

Already building their brand.

Just... not for them.

So instead of trying to stop it or ignore it, they did something brilliant.

They hired creators to join the conversation properly.

Paying two people to go on a global coffee tour and document everything?

That's way cheaper than paying influencers £5k per post.

And it's 100x more authentic because these aren't sponsored posts.

These are employees sharing genuine experiences.

This isn't influencer marketing.

This is just... marketing.

The creators aren't amplifying the brand message.

They ARE the brand message.

People don't want corporate content.

They want human content that happens to be from a company.

What if every brand treated their customers and employees like creators?

Not just hiring a couple of people to make TikToks.

But actually empowering everyone who already loves your brand to tell your story.

Your customers are already using your product.

Already talking about it.

Already creating content around it.

You just need to give them a reason to share it.

That's the real shift happening here.

Brands are finally realising their best marketing has always come from the people who actually care about them.

Remember, the creator mindset is all you need to grow 🌱
