Six months since Wembley

Six months ago today, 90,000 people filled Wembley Stadium for the Sidemen Charity Match.

£4.7 million raised (with all profits going to charity).

2.5 million people watching live.

Sidemen

And a day that set new standards for what we, and the creator economy at large, can achieve.

Since Wembley, the team has been operating on a completely different level.

Inside, the Sidemen reality TV show, launched on Netflix

We won a TellyCast Digital Video Award and got nominated for a National Television Award.

Arcade Creative launched as a creator-first agency giving brands direct access to Sidemen inventory.

We hosted the UK's first YouTube upfront event in Shoreditch.

And on September 21st, Inside USA drops - taking the format international for the first time.

Proud to say that the Arcade and Sidemen Entertainment teams have properly capitalised on the Wembley momentum.

And we’re not slowing down any time soon

It’s still to this day just absolutely wild to me how the Sidemen have evolved from 7 mates making videos into a legitimate media company that can compete with traditional entertainment on their own terms.

They're proving that creator-led businesses can achieve traditional media scale while keeping creator-native advantages.

What's most impressive is how they've maintained their identity throughout this scaling process.

They're still seven friends making content together.

They're still prioritising entertainment.

They're still willing to take creative risks that traditional media companies would never approve.

The difference is they now have infrastructure sophisticated enough to support ambitious creative vision while maintaining the nimbleness that creator businesses need to stay relevant.

The creator economy is watching because, in my non-biased opinion 😅, what the Sidemen are doing represents the future of entertainment business models.

And honestly, they're just getting started.

Remember, the creator mindset is all you need to grow 🌱
