Please stop grinding (your best ideas need rest)
Quick Saturday night reminder for anyone feeling guilty about not working this weekend:
The best creativity rarely comes from grinding.
It comes in bursts.
Moments of pure inspiration and energy that you can't force or schedule.
You know those random moments when your best ideas hit?
In the shower.
On a walk.
Right before bed.
That's your brain operating at its best - when it's rested, relaxed, and free to make new connections.
So please, stop beating yourself up about "not doing enough."
Work when you're inspired.
Rest when you're tired.
(Just keep a notebook handy for those random idea explosions)
Speaking of inspiration and ideas...
We had an absolutely 10/10 session in the Think Like A Creator community last Thursday.
My co-founder at Arcade Aaron O'Neill jumped on to talk creator finance and business building.
We covered A LOT.
Wayy too much to fit into this email.

Little sneak peek 👀
But here are my top questions and takeaways:
1/ How do you move from brand deals to offering your own products/services?
make the product ACTUALLY valuable to your audience
hire experts who know the industry inside and out
sustainability is key to avoid burnout
2/ Salary vs dividends - which is better at the beginning?
salary the better option for most buuuut…
very nuanced so please hire an accountant 🙏
get plans in place pre-VAT threshold to save money
3/ What hires give the best ROI in a startup?
hire people who pay for themselves (e.g. sales people)
outsource tasks that are time sink
offer profit shares and watch motivation fly 📈
This was the first guest appearance on our weekly calls.
Aaron's going to be joining us monthly to dive deep on creator finance.
Want to be in the next one?
Our community doors are open for those of you that are ready to think differently about growth.
Have a great weekend! :)
Remember, the creator mindset is all you need to grow 🌱
