Talent is plotted on a bell curve.

There may be a million 8/10 people out there.

But there are only ten thousand 9/10 people.

And maybe only a hundred 9.7/10.

Marginal gains at the top will, eventually, make you stand out. 

So focus on the detail. 

One Anecdote

We’ve got a new brilliant creative at Arcade Media — he’s 20.

He posts his stuff on Instagram where our MD followed him back.

That was it.

Personal branding + good work is always the way in. 

And finally, one last thing:

Here’s one of Jimmy’s earliest viral videos, where he counted to 10,000.

It didn’t matter that his profile was small — he did something no one else had.

And people noticed.
