3 things I'd change if I could go back 5 years
Found this picture from about 5 years ago where I genuinely thought I knew everything about business 😅

Spoiler alert:
I absolutely did not.
Looking at young me with that haircut and thinking he's got it all sorted... it's a little cringe for me.
I suppose it is for all of us when we look that far back.
But it got me thinking about what I'd actually tell him if I could go back.
First thing - success at a young age can go to your head
I remember getting my first proper wins and thinking I was some sort of business genius.
Reality check:
I got lucky a few times and learned some stuff along the way.
Stay humble.
Keep learning.
Don't be that person who thinks they've cracked the code after one good year.
Number two - get a new haircut
Seriously, what was that about? 😂
Thirdly - make your life as easy as possible
This is the big one though.
You're going to be spinning about 157 plates at once as an entrepreneur.
Don't make it harder by trying to do everything manually.
I used to spend hours chasing receipts, tracking expenses in spreadsheets, panicking at the end of every month trying to sort my finances.
Absolute waste of time and energy.
Now I just automate the boring stuff.
Use tools that handle it automatically so I can focus on actually growing the business.
Like with banking - I got tired of manually categorising every purchase and sending messy spreadsheets to my accountant.
Started using Tide to track expenses in real time and send everything straight to my accountant automatically.
No spreadsheets.
No end-of-month panic.
Just absolute clarity.
Total no-brainer.
If you're struggling with expense tracking like I was, I've got a code for £50 cashback when you spend your first £100 on a new Tide card.
Use code JORDAN50 when you sign up.
One less headache to worry about.
All in all - my advice would be to work smarter, not harder.
Your younger self probably thinks grinding 18-hour days makes you successful.
It doesn't.
It makes you tired and inefficient.
Build systems.
Automate the boring stuff.
Focus your energy on what actually moves the needle.
And most importantly, get a decent haircut lol.
Remember, the creator mindset is all you need to grow 🌱

P.S. Use code JORDAN50 when you sign up to Tide and get £50 cashback after spend your first £100 on a new card. Click here to claim it →
