3 lessons I wish someone had tattooed on my forehead

If you’re a creator and you’re trying to turn your content into serious money…

Please, please learn from someone who’s made all the mistakes.

(I mean all of them.)

But also someone who's helped creators, like the Sidemen, make millions.

Here are 3 lessons I wish someone had tattooed on my forehead when I was starting out 👇

1. Content–Product Fit

This one’s simple, but so many people miss it.

The best products solve a real problem or feed a desire.

  • So look at your audience.

  • Why do they follow you?

  • What do they love about your content?

Now, build a product that feels like an extension of that.

If they follow you for your humour, your mindset, your vibe - give them something that matches it.

2. You’re Not an Expert (and That’s Totally Fine)

Be honest with yourself.

Know what you’re amazing at, and know where you need help.

When we launched Sides, we almost went solo.

One restaurant. Run by us. No partners.

Would’ve been a complete disaster.

Luckily, we brought in expert partners and launched with 9 restaurants.

Even then, we barely kept up with demand.

Point is - collaboration isn’t weakness.

It’s smart.

You don’t need to be the hero.

Just build the right team.

3. Reduce Your Headaches (Seriously)

Creating content is hard.

Running a business is hard.

Trying to do all of that and manage invoices, tax returns, and finances?

That’s a full blown migraine.

Your energy is everything.

The more you spend on admin, the less you have for creating, connecting, and building your brand.

One thing I genuinely recommend: get a Tide Business Account.

It helps you stay on top of expenses, invoices, taxes (all the boring-but-crucial stuff).

And if you use my code JORDAN50, you’ll get £50 cashback when you spend £100 on your new Tide card… and if you’re just starting out you can even register your business with Companies House (at a discounted rate) via Tide at the same time. Sign up here.

More money, less stress.

Win-win.

Bottom line?

You don’t need to be perfect.

But you do need to learn from those who’ve already been through it.

Hope this helps :)

Now get back to doing what you do best: creating.

Remember, the creator mindset is all you need to grow 🌱
