10 things

End your week inspired

Hello and happy Friday,

This week, something different.

10 things I’d do today if I were 18 again:

  1. Open a high-interest savings account and automatically send £5 to it every day.

  2. Post on social media — and nail that personal brand as fast as possible.

  3. Ignore any concerns about stopping drinking. It’s only been upside.

  4. Cut back on the carbs and start fasting. NOT for everyone but works wonders for me.

  5. Start a really good non-fiction book — one of the few downsides of 3 kids is far less time for reading.

  6. Message ten leaders on LinkedIn a month, every month. They don’t usually reply, but when they do it can be life-changing.

  7. Realise how prevalent and limiting imposter syndrome is. Learn to overcome it faster.

  8. Learn that happiness isn’t found, it’s created. The next milestone won’t bring it — but time with family and deeper endeavours do.

  9. Seek out even more mentors — their advice is invaluable and many people are willing to offer their time. A seriously underrated route to expanding skills and network.

  10. Buy a lot of Nvidia shares 😂
